I transfered my digital images from my camcorder memory stick to a hard drive on my computer. I have done this many times before without a problem. This time, when I attempted to use my memory stick in my video camera again it said it needed to be formatted. I formatted the memory stick with the format command in My Computer and my video camera is still unable to read the memory stick. It continues to tell me that it needs to be formatted. Do I have to format the memory stick using Sony's software (for the digital camcorder) or can I format it on my computer?
