yes, we've gotten a whole slew of messages that hold 3-3-03 at 3:00 to be a special window of time to pray. Today I got one warning of a judgement to come in San Francisco or L.A on 3-3-03 and so to stay away from those cities.

This is a time when we need to be on our prayer guard ALWAYS AT ALL TIMES. No more 'special days'.

RIES....you must subdue your "either or "thinking. Stating that bush must stop leading the American people, does not say Saddam is a saint.

Actually bush and saddam are opposite sides of the same coin. Saddam needs to go, but not through the murdering of hundreds of thousands of women and children, the poor and the weak. So do many, many other dictators throughout the world.

It is not about bush being Satan. It is about bush leading the American people in the wrong direction, the direction of a "first strike" mentality that will change the world forever. It is about bush not able to hear the voices of the people of the world and not even listen to the religious leaders, including the pope, who find his threat of war immoral and unethical. It is about a bush who has lost himself to power, to greed, to believing he alone has the answers for all the world. He is a sad and dangerous man in the position he is in. So is Saddam. What you lack is the inability to see a gray area. You see only in black or white...either/or. This is the 21st century and we need to be finding other ways of dealing with the ills of this world. War is barbaric, it is of the past...it is no longer a desireable way to solve world problems. In this day and age with weapons of mass destruction, if we continue using war, we will eventually destroy humanity and all living things.

Jesus promoted peace and peaceful solutions. He would never support the destruction of so many innocents as a way to resolve anything. Bush needs to go...and so too Saddam. But...in a peaceful way.

I think the most likely way to obtain peace is to do what Our Lady of Fatima requested. Pray the rosary daily and offer sacrifices for sinners.

Ries, Thank you for this call to prayer. Amen, Isabel! Ditto, Theresa! Pray without ceasing. TJMAX, This is a prayer thread. There are already other threads on this forum addressing the politics of the situation.

A friend of mine sent this email this morning, and I thought it worth sharing:

"Today is March 3rd. The third month, day 3, of the year 2003. (3/3/03)

Since 3 has had a significant meaning in the Bible - "... the three calls of Samuel, three temptations of Jesus in the desert, Jesus’ three-year ministry, 33 years old when He died, the Trinity, three days in the tomb -on the third day He rose... etc... Without looking too deeply into the significance of 3, it is safe to say that 3 is indeed important.

Today would be a great day to pray, fast, or do something towards obtaining peace in the world.

Obviously, the power comes from our faith joined with the awesome power of God.

We need to pray for peace, not hope for war to end all the current problems (as I hear so many people doing. Wanting to just get it over with already).

War is evil and as a child I was made aware that e-v-i-l is literally the opposite of 'l-i-v-e'. So let's pray together for peace sometime today- 3:00pm if possible. (The hour of Mercy!) God bless---Bob"

Thank you all for paying.

It is true the killing of inocent women and children is wrong. One of my best friends at the age of 6 years old had the privilige of watching his mother raped and brutally murder in front of him, compliments of sadam hussien. If there was a way to peacefully remove sadam hussein it would have happened a long time ago. But if it doesn't happen all we have to look foward to his son to take his place. His son is a lot worse than him....raping women for sport, random executions of the innocent. But you know it all right? If the UN just askes sadam to leave it will happend huh?
