alright i need some help i read the book Tales of Mystery and Terror by poe and i have to write a 1 paragraph summery on some stories and i have no idea what to write... the stories that i have to write the paragraphs on are.. The Black Cat... Tell-Tale Heart... Fall of the house of Usher.. Mosque of Red Death... Pit and Pendulum.. so if anyone can help me please please write me back!! this is really important i have to get a good grade on this paper or i wont pass my class sooo please help~!

poe goes to old friends house. mansion. his friend is dying along with sister. poe reads to him and they both start hearing the same sounds the book describes. his friends sister dies but comes back then his friend dies and poe runs away from the mansion and themansion calapses

I just wrote a specific answer on The Pit and the Pendulum if you can scroll up. In that I mention the method of getting to the description of any Poe story and not to let the old language or Poe's word games floor you.

And give us more time and smaller questions or less obvious rehashings of things students don't intend to read or think about on their own. Self-defeating for many reasons.
