Steyr SBS magazines

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MILDOT : One Thread

I am looking for some .308 standard capacity magazines for a Steyr SBS. When I call Dynamit Nobel RWS here in the states I get shuffled around and never get an answer. Their e-mails also come back undeliverable. I have called every Steyr dealer I can find and they don't have any. I have found ten round mags and adapters and mags for almost every caliber but .308 so this is going to be my last shot. If you know of a shop over seas that has .308 4 round mags in stock and does export please let me know. Thanks Kyle

I Have an Original SSg from when they first came on the market here in the early 80's I have a ten round mag that the plastic side clips broke. Would any of you guys know if I can get the parts to rebuild the magazine??? Thank You James C.

I found some at steyrusa.com. $72 a pop. They also have the extended hi-cap kits. I bought them a couple months before deployment.

I purchased spare mags for my .308 SSG only a couple of months ago, i'm pretty sure my agent has SBS .308 std. mags also. I shall check with him tomorrow and find out what I can. I know they export to the states so hopfully they can help you. The price I paid for my std SSG mag was $100 Australian, thats about $50US. The 10 shot mags cost around $250 Australian for the SSG, but I dont know what they cost for the SBS.

Regards Tony.
