George,

I haven't come across the 'Annabell Edition' before, but Putnam's offered (at least) two different 1902 editions, both of them in very limited numbers. The 'Arnheim Edition' was limited to 500, and the 'Eldorado Edition' to just over 1000.

If you have the complete set and they are in near perfect condition, you should consult a good book dealer before selling them. The two editions mentioned above, if in very good shape, can sell for anywhere between $500 and $1000.

Hope this helps.

These 10-volume sets are very common, and printed by lots of publishers around the same time. (Only the editions edited about that time by Woodberry and Stedman, and by J. A. Harrison, in 17 volumes, are of any real value.) The number of copies printed in each edition may be limited, but the number of copies available in various "named" editions make them virtually unlimited. Unless there is something very special about the bindings or illustrations, they are generally worth less than $100.
