I recently bought a gray market(used) Olymous C4004 zoom digital camera..However, the camera does not seem to have an english menu, only japaneese...I contacted Olympus and they really frown on the purchase of gray market items and would not provide me with any help or answers. I was wondering if anyuone knew of some way to resolve this problem as the camera is otherwise useless...unless of course I decide to learn japaneese...I have a feeling learning a new language might be less painfull as well as less time consuming...Thanks in advance for any help on this matter!

Hi Dino, I think that your problem only is a matter of choosing the right language in the camera menu. You can also download the latest firmware from Olympus homesite. If you haven't the camera manual, you also can download this from the Olympus homesite. Regards Per

According to the downloadable manuals available at the olympus website there is no available language menu...there is no mention of it at all, which i found to be odd.
