associate members

Is there such a things as a family, or household, membership? In the Zipcar contract, it mentions such a thing as an 'associate member' and defines it as someone in the household of a member.

When I first joined Zipcar, I was living alone, and now I've found the love of my life and have moved in with him. He'd occasionally like to be able to drive a Zipcar, too. Does he have to join separately, or can we share a membership? How much would a household membership cost?

Thanks.

Congratulations! Yes, there is. See http://www.zipcar.com/two-drivers for details. He should apply for membership and go down the "I'm affiliated with an existing Zipcar household" path. Once approved we'll add him to your account and you'll share one monthly bill.
