Boston, Richmond, schooling in England, New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore in several houses some of whom are still historically maintained. Check out Poe websites such as www.eapoe.org(Baltimore) and links. A few controversies about his exact age. He died in 1849, about 45 years old. Died from a hard life, bad health aggravated by poverty and alcoholism and perhaps an unknown incident where he went missing before being taken to the hospital.
