I think photographs of garbage are very beautiful, you?

I live in San Francisco where there are many streets w/ a lot of garbage. Garbage photographs are what I think art to the fullest. Garbage is the opposite of beautiful subjects like flowers, beautiful people, and other regular/beautiful things. Many fine art photographers like me use black & white film oppsed to color film because we don't see in b&w, that kind of relates to taking photographs of garbage instead of regular/beautiful things.

I love Black and White Photography. I like Sunrises and Sunsets in Black And White, along with candid everyday activities and night shots, but, guess I'm a little too straight-laced for the garbage-stuff you have out in San Francisco, a city which has a reputation for such stuff, I'll admit, though, I have (i think) a great shot of a smashed beer can on a country road I took around 1976.

Yeah, I think so too. I don't know if I'd go as far as actual garbage, but I've shot pictures around the Los Angeles area and some of the best shots are of the run-down, beat up places.
