Wreck in GA early 1900s

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Southern Railway : One Thread

This question is a long shot. My grandfather Weyman Hamons had a brother killed in a train wreck in the early 1900s. We never knew the brother's name. The parents were Sid and Ida Hamone. The brother was an employee of the railroad and his mother received insurance money and a watch from the railroad. The bad thing is I don't know the date or the area. The family was from Jasper County Ga, the mother came to AL to offer part of the money to my grandfather and his wife, I don't know the year they married but their frist child was born 1915 in Clay Co Al. Does anything sound familar to anyone? Robyn Hamons Green
