I am doing a research project on Psychology and I chose to do the History of Psychology. So my question, what would be a good reference for me to use? I have found a lot of stuff, but I'm not sure of what to use. So if you could help me, that would be greatly appreciated! thanx again... ~karishma

There are many excellent textbooks on the history of psychology. Ray Fancher's _Pioneers of Psychology_ takes an interesting biographical approach. There is also Watson's _Great Psychologists_ (co-authored by Rand Evans in later editions). Wayne Viney's (Viney & King in the 2nd ed.) and Thomas Leahey's textbooks are well-regarded as well. Hergenhahn's and Jim Goodwin's books are used by many teachers. Dan Robinson's _Intellecutal History of Psychology_ is excellent too, but its focus is on earlier movments than in most other books of its kind.
