Accessible Content Management : LUSENET : MCU - Accessible Web Design : One Thread

Here is a problem I am thinking about at the moment; how to make content management accessible - particularly for people who are blind.

Most web based content management systems use forms, and most of the forms interfaces are not that accessible:

I have some ideas - one of which is to develop a content management system based on the use of e-mail. Most people who are blind that I know are very comfortable using e-mail.

Does this sound like a good idea?

I'm not exactly sure how you would do this. Can you expand on how you would use email to do what you want to do?

At the moment there are weblog systems that can be updated via e-mail:

You send an e-mail to the server hosting the weblog containing appropriate name, password, topic title and text etc and the weblog is automatically updated.

If this can be done for a weblog, I don't see why it can't be expanded for more general use.
