Brooklyn's zipcars seem much more in demand than ones in Manhattan (especially in the Park Slope area). Would it be possible to add more?

I have to second the complaints about availability. The cars closest to me (12th St btwn 7th and 8th Ave and 405 Flatbush) are almost continuously booked on the weekends. Any updated ETA on more vehicle availability in Brooklyn (esp Park Slope)?

Yes, more cars in Park Slope, and please not just Minis... It is somewhat tricky to fit 2 adults, 2 kids and a beach bag or groceries in a Mini...! ;-)

I agree - I am a new member and I live in williamsburg - I just had to accept the fact of a trip on the subway whenever I want to zipcar. there are actually a lot of people who live in Greenpoint and "the burg." remember us!

In an earlier post in this same thread, you had mentioned an extra 9- 10 cars in Brooklyn by April 15.

I can see an extra 4-5 since January, so does it mean that we are going to get an extra 4-5 any day now, or have you changed your plans?

I'm glad more cars are coming to Brooklyn. I hope you plan to replace the two you've apparently taken away from Prospect Heights. It seemed like they got a lot of use, and it seems strange that they're gone.

I just now noticed that most responses to the original question are very old. I also read the most recent response before mine, and would like to second it. I won't be renewing if cars aren't brought back to Prospect Heights by the time my year is up.

Lets hope that zipcar adds some BMW'S, HUMMERS FERRARI'S, VOLVO'S RANGE ROVER'S IN THE BROOKLYN AREA. I know this wont happen but try bringing the BMW to brooklyn, i hate traveling an extra hour earlier to the city to get to my BMW rental.
