Have you folks heard about this guy?? I've run into him and Cuddles occasionally at the grocery store. It's really hard to resist patting the mini-horse...she's sooo cute!! Now he has two!

I hope this site works for you...

Hey, Marcia. I sell the Down East magazine in my store. When I read it I think of you. Its amazing how very similar Maine and NS are. Did you read the last issue that had an article on Liv Tyler's Maine connections? Very interesting I thought. I also have Yankee but its always got a wrapper (poo) so I can't flip through it.

!! Alison!! Welcome back! We thought you'd disappeared for good.

Alison...I subscribe to Downeast magazine, but I didn't read that article yet. I used to get Yankee, but let I let it run out. I did give it to my mom in North Carolina last year as a gift and she loves it!! She can't wait to move back to New England. I think that Maine and NS are very similar, too. Harry and I have often talked about possibly moving to NS when we retire...if the population of Maine keeps going up!! Don't want to be too far away from "Lake Atlantic" :-)!!!

Dang-it Marcia! I can't get it. What is it a mini horse tied outside the market?.....Kirk

I can't get it now either, Kirk. Probably 'cause it's "old" news!! It was in our local paper three days ago. It's an article about the country's first seeing eye mini horse. She (Cuddles) was raised on a farm in N.C. and bought by a fellow here in Maine. They make a really cute "couple" and are allowed everywhere a seeing eye dog would be!! The horse wears little sneakers and is housebroken :-)!!
