I need to know about how women abuse has changed over the years. I think that it has become more of a well known issue now because women are beginning to realize that abuse is a serious problem. I need to know how it has evolved from like the 1800's through until present. Your help would be Greatly Appreciated, Thank you in Advance.

P.S This is for a school project, so a response is important A.S.A.P

I can tell you one thing about women and abuse. There are women who are abusers and batterers now but who are protected by the law by falsely accusing men to gain whatever is important to them at the time. They can lie, deceive, cheat and totally manipulate the system and no one will believe that a man can suffer domestic violence. The men like women are ashamed to admit it and are made to feel as though they are the ones wrong. As a woman I am totally appalled at this situation and that when you mention domestic violence, the first thing someone thinks is it is against a woman , while statistics show that a great number of men are abused by their wives, girlfriends and such they have no rights and no protection fron the legal system. If you look into domestic violence it is not only against women and that should be an important part of your study. Good Luck and I hope that you will incorporate what I have said into your research. Cordially, Beatrice
