Audio runs faster than Video.

I find that in some of my mpegs the audio is faster than the video, on windows media player or DivX. This doesnt happen on my friends computer when they watch it.

Is there anyway to fix this without modifying the movie with Adobe Premiere?

If you are making the mpeg from another source ie avi be sure that you arent changing the frame rate conversion to something that the audio cant match. Ive found that if the avi is 30 =29fps 14 = 29fps 11 = 23fps 12 = 25fps. The other problem may be that the mpeg video coding is pausing or slowing slightly but the audio coding is fine allowing over time 10/20 min for a noticable time lag while watching. Finally if the same file plays ok on your friend pc check your codecs against theres or even some of your hware. If your watching it off cd then that would be where I would start audio is quicker to read than video so your system may be trying to catch up with its self all the time. If any of this helps then good if not steel your friends pc when there not looking.
