SAL line to Charleston, SC from Savannah, GA

greenspun.com : LUSENET : ACL and SAL Railroads Historical Society : One Thread

Hey everyone. I need a fairly good map of the SAL line between Savannah, GA to Charleston, SC. I'm modeling part of this line and I need to know some of the places along the line. Please, if you have any maps that you'd be willing to scan please do! They will just be for my personal use. I just really need them. But if you don't but have any information that could be helpful such as cities the line went through and things of that nature, please let me know. Thanks! Jason

Our product catalog includes reprints of the SAL and ACL system track profiles advertised on the web site above, for a lower price than the originals.

Try this website... There are a lot of track profiles available, including some from SAL.

Hey Jason,

The ACL-SAL HS just published the first part of our "EC" article in the last edition of Lines South. Part two is coming in about 45 days. The information in the articles should get you started. A few track charts exist and we're trying to get our hands on them, as well as any photos along the line. If you find something, please let us know.
