EVO III motor? Update to MV Agusta USA site

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MV Agusta F4 : One Thread

The update (more of a revision) of thier site talks about an EVO3 motor. Horsepower seems to be unchanged from 2002 to 2003.

Sounds like just cosmetic changes to me

If all the things they mention on the engine page are new, this is much more than cosmetic. They are now using the 4 into 1 header stock, which was a special part before, and they are doing some other things different which is significant like cooling the underside of the pistons and different pistons themselves. Sounds really good to me. I hope they can keep it up.

I think the Senna from '02 had the forged pistons and oil cooling jets. Maybe this is now standard.

I cant imagine they did all that stuff to the motor and didnt gain a few BHP.
