Sympathy with Bishop GGM Ingram

greenspun.com : LUSENET : A.M.E. Today Discussion : One Thread

We have learnt the passing on to Glory of Sister Brenda Tipton, the eldest sister of our Bishop Gerald GM Ingram. It is our conviction that "earth's loss is heaven's gain!" and wish to let our Bishop and the entire family know that our prayers and thoughts are with them. Believe me when we say that we may be separated thousands of miles from each other by the great Atlantic Ocean, but we share your pain and loss in the spirit. It is the good Lord who is the source of all gifts and in the words of Job, "The Lord has taken away ... may the Lord's name be praised!". On behalf of the rank and file of the AME's in Namibia in particular and the 15th Episcopal District, we want to assure Bishop & Mother Ingram of our loyal support amd prayers for all seasons as they continue to make a difference in our lives. May be near you in times of bereavement and may His Spirit console you in this lostr with the going home of sister Brenda Tipton.

Dear Bishop Ingram and family we at St. Paul Community A.M.E church in Bozeman, Montana send you prayers and we ask for the holy spirit to strengthen you during this time. We also pray that you allow Jesus to comfort you and let him carry your load. There are no silent tears for God hears every tear that drops from the eyes of his children and every hurt and pain God knows about and he sends his son to walk with you during your time of grief. We are sorry for your loss and we will keep you lifted in prayer and we pray that you will rest. God has blessed you and he will not forsake you.
