I am a complete novice to this, after downloading my fist movie off the internet (in (divx).avi format) I would lik to copy it to disc. The file is 697Mb / 90min the disc I am trying to put it on is a 700Mb disc. I am being told I have to copy it on to 2 disc's but I am not sure how to or which software to get (preferably something idiot proof) I currently use Nero to burn. It would be greatly appreciated if you could give any advise.

you could try to use TMPGEnc to cut it in half.
