SATIN RABBITS

Are satin rabbits a large meat type rabbit? I have only had NZ whites. I bought two satin does, 6 mo. old, just wondering how big they get.

Hi, Tiller. From my experience, Satins are just slightly smaller than NZ or Californians. I have a Satin buck that I've crossed with NZ does, and they produce great litters! If your does are 6 months old, they should be very near to their full size, if not there already. Best of luck with your bunnies! :-)
