Probably not, but you could consult the DVD compatibility list at http://www.vcdhelp.com and see what they say. Your options usually are to buy a DVD player that can have the firmware hacked to allow region free play or to buy a "code free" DVD player from various sites.

What you need to do. First switch on the DVD player. There must not be a DVD in the tray. Now with the remote control key in 74 push enter key in 74 and push enter again. You will now be taken into a menu. Scroll down to country code and key in the code of the DVD you would like to watch eg: 2 for Europe\Africa. Push enter, power cycle the DVD player and there you go. it is a bit of a pain having to change it everytime, but it does work. If you do not get it write let me know and I will check into it for you.
