I am working on a project and i would like to know what type of poem "The Haunted Palace" is, i.e.(lyric, narrative, sonnet)? Also I need to know the type of language devices Poe uses in the poem and how they establish the speaker's tone. I'm not really sure what the theme is either. Please give answer as soon as possible, preferably sometime today. Thank You.

A rare and the best example of allegory. As poe himself described it the place is a human skull(two windows-eyes) and the phsyical nature through time follows the decay of the idnividual. The allegory is inserted into The Fall of the House of Usher to further highlight the union between Roderick, his physical and familial house. The mlanguage is lyrical, romantic, gothic. Lyricism turns to dread with the decay in the Palace over time as the man goes mad(the guests rushing out would be words babbling insanely). The theme is a mind turned sick and mad, the happy past lost.
