i have an old lawn motor and wanted to make it a go cart. if anyone has any plans or anythig they think will help me please e mail me . i have tryed puttin the motor on its side but it does not work. please help joe

i need help building a go-kart out of a lawnmower motor? i don't know how to connect it with the back wheels. i've to unscrew the blade from the bottom of it but it is hard. i also don't know how to make both back wheel connect to each other, i don't know how to make the steering wheel connect to the front wheel to make it turn.

ring up your local mower shop and see if u can purchase a centrifical clutch that will fit your mower for about $80 australian then attach it to your rear axel vier v belts also u will nead to turn your carboreter 90 degrease .dont bother if its a 4 stroke thougth.

if you bought a clutch that uses a belt hook that up to your motor. the ge a ne sproket that uses a belt. then you can mount your motor verticaly and twist the belt. thats how i did it

you must take the rear end (transmition) apart and flip the axle and put it back together and it will change your gear ratio.
