Tracey Some of the advice you have been giving people on this site is utter crap and will probably put them in a worse position than they already are. You obvously think you are some kind of barrack room lawyer, but just remember a little knowledge is dangerous.

Leave the advice to people who actually know what they are talking about.

Russell,

I don't know if you did it on purpose, but by not actually stating what advice it is that I have given that can put people in a worse position they are already in, your posting is a perfect example of how lenders try to intimidate borrowers into not asking too many questions.

It would be helpful to everybody if you could quantify your statement with some examples, then people would know what is likely to get them into hot water. I would be horrified if something I said made the situation these people are in worse.

Thanks very much

Tracey

Tracey don't worry I for one think you give out some good advice, you never try to be a lawyer and the person who receives the advice has a choice as to whether to take it or leave it. This site is great and it's a shame a small number spoil it for all the truly genuine people out there who are working together to resolve their difficulties. All the best to all you helpful bodies out there!!

Thank you very much Chris,

It is very kind of you. I would hope if I said anything that would cause anybody extra trouble, then someone would point it out.

I think Russell probably works for a lender, or is one of the muppets (sorry puppets) they contract the work out to. His posting was fine example of how lenders try to undermine the confidence of someone who is getting the better of them.

Again, thankyou for your kinds words.

Tracey

Madcow Tracey.!!!! The theme of this letter is not "The word "honesty" does not exist in Ms. Madcow Tracey's vocabulary." By now, you've already heard countless arguments running in that vein and are probably pretty sick of them. The theme of this letter is "This screams of the old belief that obdurate, imperious segregationists are merely dastardly deadbeats." For the sake of review, I didn't want to talk about this. I really didn't. But Tracey"s hypocrisy is transparent. Even the least discerning among us can see right through it. There's no mystery about it, no more room for fairy tales, just the knowledge that those of us who are too lazy or disinterested to stick to the facts and offer only those arguments that can be supported by those facts have no right to complain when she and her myrmidons extinguish the voices of opposition.

With friends like Tracey, who needs enemies? I mean, she has been deluding people into believing that she can change her wretched ways. Don't let her delude you, too. While we all despair over her revolting demands, we must also remember the principles that will guide our better behaviors and higher aspirations. Life isn't fair. We've all known this since the beginning of time, so why is she so compelled to complain about situations over which she has no control? This is not a question that we should run away from. Rather, it is something that needs to be addressed quickly and directly, because if she is going to talk about higher standards, then she needs to live by those higher standards.

Tracey would have us believe that she knows the "right" way to read Plato, Maimonides, and Machiavelli. Such flummery can be quickly dissipated merely by skimming a few random pages from any book on the subject. Doesn't she ever get tired of calling everyone "fatuous, pretentious astrologers"? She can't help it; she just loves to violate all the rules of decorum. I, for one, predict catastrophe. I put that observation into this letter just to let you see that prudence is no vice. Cowardice -- especially Tracey's anti-democratic form of it -- is. Lastly, I can't end this letter without mentioning that Tracey's assertion that "the norm" shouldn't have to worry about how the exceptions feel serves only to illustrate her ignorance and poorly hidden bigotry.

To sum up, Tracey has not got a clue and seems to get off on other peoples problems.
