Looking for a good overlay map showing the natural shoreline of the City and the present street alignments, especially along the Marina-North Point area.

Thanks, but I was looking for actual conditions. This map shows projected street layouts as of 1863, not what really exists today.J.

check out Lawson et. al. 1908 report on 1906 quake. SF History Room in the main library has a copy. Also the David Rumsey Map Collection: http://www.davidrumsey.com/. This site has a great collection of maps including some very interesting charts of SF and the bay. You'll need to download a special browser and the maps are huge if you want good detail, but you should find the collection helpful.
