You'll generally find nice material in the more lengthy history of psychology textbooks (Watson's The Great Psychologists, for example). D. B. Klein, in A History of Scientific Psychology quotes from a talk given by Harald Hoffding about Wundt (p. 819 of Klein's text.) Hoffding described Wundt as affecting people with "his gentle warmth, manifest cordiality, and quite enthusiasm for things intellectual." If you can track down Hoffding's article which was translated into English, and perhaps some Wundt obituaries, you should be in good shape. Unfortunately the biographies on the web are not any better than standard textbook treatments. Klein also quotes from Titchener about Wundt. If you can find Klein's book, it will give you much of what you want.
