For science teachers in grades 6-8 in Community School Districts 3, 5, & 6 only. Preference will be given to teachers who are teaching the Ecology unit this school year.

The Middle School SMART Process, The City College of New York, and The American Museum of Natural History invite you to participate in a Saturday Science Institute January 18th - April 5, 2003 (7 Saturdays) at the American Museum of Natural History.

Participants will receive:
3 free science credits in science or a $500 honorarium
Yearlong family membership to the museum
Teacher’s guide for the life science curriculum
Unlimited class visits to the museum

Participants will commit to:
Implement the life science curriculum in the spring
Participate in follow-up after school workshops at the museum in the fall.
