Sliding contacts for seam welders are typically made from copper alloy and/or silver. To obtain satisfactory contact wear in a seam welder, it is important to use the proper waterproof conductive lubricant, such as crystal solid oil or castor oil. The contacting surfaces in a seam welding "head" should be lubricated on a regular basis. A knowledgeable distributor of resistance welding equipment and supplies should be able to guide you in the selection of the proper materials to use in designing your seam welder.

We manufacture sliding contacts for our seam welders - made of special man-made material. Works great in the seam welding heads. Send me your sketch and we will quote you a price to make them. Please, allow 4-6 weeks for delivery Dr.Joe
