i have this question the bird raven was found in Bosten and EAP write this short story The Raven. when the bird was found did they name the bird because of the EAP?

i agree w/ poopy nanna it was a way 4 eap 2 express what was goin on in his head as all his works were based on they were not ment 4 our intertainment i believe they were meant 4 his imagination 2 let him go 2 new places and 2 increse his mental capasity by doin so there 4 the Raven in eap mind may have just as well have been him wanting 2 learn 2 fly in other words know and understand what was in his horison as in ours

actually I believe that they were ment for us...he one day would've wanted to publish his works, just like he did with many of them. The Raven was put in a local News Paper after he wrote it...yes it was away to let his mind free, but thats the thing with gifts that we are giving, you like to share your abilitys with others and thats just what he did.

Poe wrote "The Raven" because he was thinking about Virginia. She was close to death. A raven represents death and so the poem "The Raven" seemed to fit what was happening to Virginia!
