If I have been baptized in a Catholic church but I have not received communion and have neither been confirmed can I still get married in a Catholic Church? The man I intend to marry is also Catholic. He has received his communion and has also been confirmed. Is it possible for us to get married in a Catholic church under our circumstances? Is it true that I am not able to get married unless I'm confirmed? Please help..

You can be married as a Catholic, but part of your preparation will involve receiving the other sacraments you are missing. Your parish priest will explain this to you once you set your appointment to discuss getting married in the Church.

"Getting married in the Church" is more than just showing up on the wedding day. You'll need to spend at least six months in a program that will assist you to have a truly sacramental marriage. Take FULL advantage of it - it will be the best thing you can do for yourself, your future spouse and future children!

God bless,
