credit report

greenspun.com : LUSENET : CountrySide Family : One Thread

YOu've all seen the ads, ,pop ups and such, "Get your FREE credit report now ! ! ! , time is limited" and such. Today, I have even seen a TV ad for the same thing.

DONT BELEIE IT

ALL credit reports are free,, for EVERYONE !!!, once a year,, you can request a copy from all credit reporting angencies. And you can get a report if you were denied credit. Just tell them you were,, and they HAVE to mail it to you.

If you dont know where to find the toll free numbers,, jsut call you bank, or credit card company, and get it from them,, they may even have them all,, check with all your creditors, to amke sure they arent useing a small reporting agency that you may over look.

Just hought Id post this,,, those ads really make me mad,, trying to get you to pay for something thats free,,,,, that the Feds say HAS to be free,, burns my ass ,,,,,,,,,,
