I have a Samsung P401 model DVD player. I decided to try out VCD's and I burned one onto a CD-R. I played the movie, but the image has white "squiggly" lines all over it. Now this is happening to original DVD's and anything I play in the player. Even when it is not "reading" (when it's showing the popular DVD image that dims down and lights back up) the image is distorted. Is is possible the VCD did this to my DVD player? If not, what could it be?
