I am not sure you can. I have heard a few remedies in my lifetime, but am not sure any of them work. The two most commons I have head are:

1) Apply a frozen spoon to it for a couple of seconds and a time. 2) Apply frozen peanut butter to it for a couple of seconds at a time.

Yes, I know they both sound stupid, but medically I am not sure how either method would rid you of a hickey.

The best "cure" is the excuse! Sometimes the truth works! Try this:

When someone asks if you have a hickey, you respond: "yes, my boyfriend gave it to me. I couldn't believe that it only took a half a second. I thought he was just going to kiss my neck, but he tricked me and now I am so embarrassed!!!"

Or this: Actually burn yourself with a curling iron

Or this: Actually get a rope burn over the hickey

Or this: Find a way to get a bigger bruise in the same spot with a better story on what the bruise is.

Or this: Hide in your room/home/apartment until it goes away and don't ever let it happen again...
