cheapest dv tapes, steadicams, super 8 film

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Shooting DV Films : One Thread

Hi, I’m going to be touring with a band in dec. and documenting the tour. I'll be using a light cheesy one chip mini dv, and do a little bit of shooting on a sankyo XL-25s super 8. my question is what is the best way of stabilizing shots in moving vehicles, where can you get the best deals on bulk quantities of mini dv tape, and best place to purchase kodachrome reversible 100 speed color super 8 film carterages

Answers

use a manfrotto sucker mount or use a bed pillow and push the cam in to the pillow during driving shots

im making a doc on paramedics at present for bbc television in n ireland and use both these methods with my sony pd150
