Gospel thread not up?

Is anyone else having trouble opening "the true Gospel" thread?

I posted a long long answer to Oliver, and I was hoping that he wrote back.

He had mentioned that Catholics don't say the Lords Prayer in the name of Jesus.

I wanted Oliver to be clear that: 1) All Catholic begin, or should begin, their prayers with the sign of the cross. And while we make the sign of the cross we say, "In the name of the Father, and of the Son (JESUS), and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.". 2) At Mass, when we say the Lords Prayer, the Priest will say, "Now, let us pray with the words our Lord Jesus taught us..." or something very similar.

So for Oliver to say that we pray the Lords Prayer wrong (that is - not in the name of Jesus), it makes me wonder what his pastor, or where ever he's getting his info, is teaching him.

As for the NicolaitAns: I read the Book of Revelations last month, yet since the passage referring to the Nicolaitans was simply two lines (to the church at Ephesus: 'Yet this you do have, that you hate the deeds of the (12) Nicolaitans, which I also hate…’ to the church at Pargamum: 'So you also have some who in the same way hold the teaching of the (42) Nicolaitans.’) I hadn’t given it much thought. But since Oliver brought it up the day before, it perked my curiosity. So I tried to research, but I found nothing. Why? Because it is NicolaitAns and not NicolaitIns. But when I got home I read the Book of Rev. over and found the two passages he referred to! Thank goodness they were in Ch. 2, or else I would have had to read the entire book over.

Anyhow, it still baffles me why Oliver referred to them. Can you explain what your mind was intending us to get from this?

HERE is some info on the Nicolaitans.

In Christ.

Yep; says there's a server error.

Sorry Jake, my response was a 9 page response and it looks like the server doesn't allow such long threads. As I stated in a new thread, if anyone wants to read my response, they can email me. I have stated pretty much everything I wanted to say in that 9 page response. I will therefore conclude my debate. You all have your belief that the Catholic church is the one and only true church. I have my beliefs. You have yours. May the Lord bless you all and keep you in his sweet presence. I believe you, as all genuine Christians are His church, His ekklesia, His called out ones. Now it is up to us to deny our selves, take up the cross and follow Him.

The Lord bless you, the Lord keep you.

Oliver.
