CRAWFORD, Texas (AP) - The Associated Press, in an Oct. 25 story about reaction to the death of Sen. Paul Wellstone, erroneously attributed a quote to President Bush (news - web sites) that actually came from Chinese President Jiang Zemin (news - web sites). Saying he had just learned of the crash, Jiang said: "I would like to express my deep condolences for the loss of the Senate. And also I would like to express my condolences to the bereaved family."
