Is it a good idea to acquire anime free if you can?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Animes : One Thread

if you think it is then you are normal, but if you think it isnt then ur insane. anyway for those who think its a good idea, go to www.neo-modus.com and download the direct connect client, when its installed, enter a username and share a folder (at least 1GB) then click connect at the top of the browser and in the address box type animepantyhose.no-ip.com.com, this will take you to a server with GB upon GB of FREE anime!

and for those who think its wrong, still go there, u might like it ;)

To be honest, iRC is actually easier to find, and download what you need. It is for both mac and windows..a little confusing at first..but ask for help and someone will help you.. There is a good server-- irc.aniverse.com on AnimeNet which has a room called #anime-kraze This room has over 1000 members, and u can find a good file by typing / msg [Akraze]Warbucket(this is a bot name.Bots are shown near last of the user list with [Akraze next to it. Ex: Warbucket) xdcc list This command lists all the files a bot has. Most recent files include Gundam Seed and Inuyasha 88. To download a file (files appear in a list with a # next to the files) use /msg [Akraze]Warbucket xdcc send #(# is number of file) Anyways, This is just for those who want good quality anime like hikaru no go, gundam seed, anything! Email me if u are stuck : )

Direct Connect is a pretty handy tool for anime, but it really is not quite as good as irc. All of the groups I know of are based in and release in IRC. Well, there's one exception that uses another program that no one really uses, but for the most part, that's true across the board. I should know. I've subbed quite a few myself. :)

go to download an mIRC client, perferably sysreset, or polaris, and then connect to a server. Popular ones are DALnet, EFnet. Some newer ones are irc.enterthegame.com and irc.aniverse.com.

once in, /list anime will give most of anime channels. Paying attention to an episode will usully point you to where u can get more from that group.

If u want to talk to me, /msg dtran01 @ irc.dal.net.
