I recently purchased a 1992 900 S with a bad head gasket, bad headliner and a few other minor disfunctions. I paid $500 for it, about $120 for parts and replaced the head gasket. Found and repaired several coroded connectors (took them loose and scraped them out). Now the car is great. Still needs a headliner and either seats or decent seat covers, but mechanically is great. Car has 116,000 miles on it, and head gasket replacement is almost a certainty for the 16 valve engines. the Turbo SPG is quite a collectors item and if it doesn't need any work, you have found a really good deal.
