I also purchased a china cabinet and dressor from a local antique shop in Lake Wales, Fl. They knew of the previous owners, telling me it was Dr. McKeon's mother's set. The doc is retired and notavailable for the antique shop to ask when his mother purchased the set. My 2 pieces also have the label on the back of them, which took me awhile to make out due to the age. I am trying to find out if this furniture store still exists? My 2 pieces are numbered and dimensions are also on the back of the pieces. If you know, I'd appreciate and Email. Thank you, Sincerely, yevette

we contacted the historical society where albert's furniture was located.

this is ALL the info they have on "ALBERT'S FURNITURE"

"Albert Furniture Co. - Business started by a Mr. Root and Albert Kahn about 1900. Became the Albert Furniture Co. in 1912. Company was forced into receivership in 1957. Made bedroom and dining room furniture." I remember the company because my step grandfather was the watch man there and we kids would go over and go on his rounds with him when the factory was closed on the weekends. Wish I had more information but this is all that was in my files. Junne Barnett Grover Museum

we hope this helps someone.

Hi Rachel! I am also looking for the value of some Albert furniture. I have a dining room table and a buffet, both in good condition but need to be refinished. Did you ever find out any information regarding yours? Thanks in advance and I'll let you know if I turn up anything. Amber

I just purchased an Albert Furniture dining table and 6 chairs for $275 in Topanga Canyon Ca. It's very regal looking, needs some work but I know I got a smokin' deal!

I also have a piece that is labeled Albert Furniture. It is light oak with large botton drawer. Two front cabinets that open, and drawers above that. Is there an antique book somewhere that lists their material?

Hi Rachel. As many other here, I too have just purchased a dinning room table, 6 chairs, and a buffet on ebay for only $345. They are in real good condition, but the buffet needs to be refinished. It is mark Albert Furniture Co. Shelbyville, IN. It was originally sold at a furniture store in Canton, Oh. I have no idea of its value. Has anyone found anything out? The buffet has a small mirror on top and both the table and buffet have wooden wheels attached to the legs. I wonder if that was original?

Today, after days of haggling with Goodwill, I purchased, I believe, a sideboard marked Albert Furniture for 5 dollars. I was very excited to see it, a diamond in the rough so to speak. It has several coats of old paint on it and was wondering if anyone knew where to find pictures of the originals.
