I was just wondering if there were ever any otters in the South River near Edgewater, MD. As a child I thought I saw otters swimming down the river in front of my house early in the mornings. When I mentioned this to people they said, "No way, there were never any otters in the South River near there. They were probably muskrats or beavers." Is that true? Thanks for your attention.
