My ARTEC e+ pro scanner used with the USB port and WIN 2000 works fine for both the color and gray modes. For the black and white mode, the resulting image is blurred (the characters look like clouds of points, with a kind of 'double vision'). I have got no answer from Artec, since I bought this scanner.
