For Dee's goats........

Hi Dee, When my calf was loaded with ringworm (about 1/3 bald)my vet recommended diluted lime-sulphur. You can get it at gardening places because its used as a fungal spray on fruit trees and other plants. Since ring worm is a fungal disease it stands to reason that it would work. BUT it stinks like mad and they won't like it. Wear gloves when applying it too (it irritated my skin). The only other thing is to let it run its course and make sure they get lots of sunshine. The lime sulphur is far less toxic than the copper based blue medicine at the feed stores.

Ah, Alison, you didn't hear (or read, actually) Turns out they had ticks. I thought all the cicular scabs were the start of ringworm. Two of them do have ringworm on their ears but I'm putting on the dog and cat formula made by Tomlyn (its nice to work in a pet store) I had also bought the Captan that Vicki and my vet suggested to use the same way you said to use the lime sulphur but NOW I DON"T HAVE TO. Yea!!!

But thank you, thank you so much for thinking about me and I really don't mind a private e-mail as long as you let me know you are from BTS in the re:
