Hey dudes! Thanks for the addresses.

Yesterday was a busy day as I took out our central A/C. Fix'n to replance my gas furnace when I can and needed to remove the a/c. Boy, talk about a job! Patched the hole in the wall where the lines came through. About a bazillion mouse "callin cards" in the water heater closet where it's shared with the lines and furnace. They had chewed the sheetrock out a mite and used the lines as a thorofare.

Winter apparently is here now. A very heavy frost each mornin this week. Makes an old hillbilly kinda "pine" for spring!!! Fall is a very lonesome time for many folks. I guess it's because of so much death around us what with all the tree leaves, grass and even crops that are dyin and turnin brown. Very soon, Lil Dumplin and this old hick will have to go to the bottoms and gather hickory nuts.

Was drivin down our road yesterday afternoon and saw Old Mr. Groundhog runnin for cover. Headed to the culvert just east of our house, he did. I'm fix'n to air condition his old hide as quickly as I can. He has been very prolific--I see their den holes all along the little gravel road---in the edge of my field!

When was the last time ya'll built a fire outside and had a "set down", drunk a bunch of coffee, roated some old dead hog meat or cow meat, on a stick? A wheel from a semi- works good for smaller, cookin fires. I don't like a fire too small cause I like to stay warm too. I'm fix'n to get a tractor rim.

Finally figgered out the problem with my waterwell. It was the "bladder tank". I think it's fixed but if not--I'll not fight it anymmore. I'll just go get a new one.

Time to get ready, head out to work some more on my "stuff" before I get too lazy and wanna stay inside where it's warm. old hoot. Matt.24:44
