What influenced poe to write the way he did and why? I know his wife did, but how? What About Alcoholism? Family anxiety?(father)

You mean the really WEIRD stuff? The question has the usual presumption that Poe had to be some of sicky and is fundamentally offbase. First read Poe's whole life and a wide sample of his works. the Romantic movement captured him because of his background and temperament surely but this is a complex issue. Even nice young ladies wrote lurid Gothic tales at that time. Even then though, because he was better at it, Poe got singled out as a shocker with unhealthy dispositions.
