Whenever I see those little smiley faces on the Walmart commercials, I think of this :-)!!! Sure wish I knew how to make a direct link!

That's great Marcia! I loved it!

Here's the secret to making a direct link. I have it written on a little sticky note next to my computer. I can't write it out exactly or else the computer will just make a link rather than showing you what it's seeing, so I'm going to trick it. I'm going to use ( and ), but when you try it for real, use < and > instead. Does that make sense?

The general format is: (a href="website URL")name of website(/a)

so for the website above, it would look like: (a href="http://www.superlaugh.com/1/smileback.swf")Smileys(/a)

Thanks for the info, Sherri. Now I have that written down on a sticky note here on my coffee table :-)!! I wonder if Joy would let me practice it right here on this forum??

Sure, go ahead, open a new thread. I can always delete it when you're done playing with it. I think there's a practice forum on Lusenet, but there's no real reason you can't do it here.
