Answers

Very unprecisely, about seventy (imaginative -- fiction) "stories" in all (including his long "Narrative of A. G. Pym", as well as some revised versions), and about fifty- five poems (many times revised). This bulk is far less than half of his entire work (essays, reviews, jounalistic and ephemeral jottings, editorials, prospectus, prefaces, &c...). We will never know. SOme stories were published in small circulation magizines that are no longer in existance. May be some day someone will find one of these old magizines and we will be treated to a never to be read Poe story since it was printed as of so many years ago.
