Well Tenchi is one of my favorite animes, and it use to air on cartoon network (toonami, and adult swim) but now its not on anymore. I was wondering, if anyone knows if its coming back? it would be a big help (please tell me) and also, will Tenchi GXP be aired here? (the new season in japan of Tenchi)! I have found out that all the Tenchi GXP DVDs are out in Japan and you can order it on Anime sites. Tenchi GXP is a very good show. Tenchi GXP might be coming on Cartoonetwork after March since it did come on in March in Japan.

I have to appologize about that. The DBGT episodes are coming on DVD. As for Tenchi GXP very unlikely will see it this year. Toonami goes in three steps to bring Anim'e to the viewers. 1.) They cut out all the Juciy scenes and have it edited for time. 2.) Have it translated in English. 3.) Have a long release date so they can make sure that the above are correct.

I'm for sure that tenchi will come back (this is the person who wrote this question)... Because it was a HUGE success! And even though this isnt about tenchi, Inu yasha was canceled for this annoy show that isnt even anime, but is suppose to be coming back this month, and new episodes in may! I remember when adult swim first came out, on the saturdays that is, it showed ALL these Tenchi episodes that weren't ever showned on the weekdays!! and im for sure since many people have seen tenchi on the weekdays, im sure they will put it on toonami, because that's were it oringinally started on! Well, I have found the Tenchi GXP series and LOTS of Tenchi OVA, Tokyo, Universe, and not so many TV. As for some info about Tenchi GXP. Yamada Seina is Tenchi's cousin who accidentally gets in a fight inbetween Ryoko and Ayeka, and therefore a person from GP saves him. And gives him an application for GP. He gets accepted, and it goes from there. I know lots about all the Tenchi Muyo series. I have episodes 1-13 of Tenchi Muyo! OVA. Tenchi in Tokyo: Episodes 1 and 20, so hard to get ahold of but I'm planning on getting more. Tenchi Universe: Episodes 13 - 15, 19, 20, 22, 23, 25. Mihoshi Special. Shining Washu, doesn't say what episode it is so eh. All three movies. Tenchi Muyo! GXP: 1 - 7, 9 - 18, 20 - 23. I plan on downloading them all which surely really isn't that long till now, I'll have the full Tenchi Muyo! GXP series in about a week. I also know almost everything about the series. I managed to get an import of the entire series on DVD and basically the series follows the adventures of Seina Yamada (a friend of Tenchi's) who gets recruited into the Galaxy Police. He also has his harem similar to Tenchi but if I tell too much more it may spoil the series for you (one spoiler though in episode 17 he is on leave on earth and spends most of the time with his friend Tenchi and the others)

Yeah I heard that GXP is coming to Toonami (which I am happy for - BIG Tenchi fan), but on the down note I heard that funimation is doing the translations (ugh, sorry if anyone likes them but they stink at conversions IMHO - Pioneer is much better). I have no idea about Inu Yasha but I hope they stop repeating. It's not like Inu Yasha is a short series anyhow. I submitted a complaint but not like they care what I have to say. hey its me adriana again! omg i know like all the 'new' shows there putting on toonami are just TERRIBLE (and ive noticed that all of them are triggered for 'boys'.. no offence, but it'd be nice if sailor moon came back.. but back to the subject about tenchi)! well if toonami was smart enough, they would have noticed that there 'best years' or 'highest ratings' is when sailor moon and the tenchi series were on tv! if they brought one of those back, or both, the ratings for toonami (or cartoon network) would be VERY high! :) but they just stick with dragon ball z, and YYH (there good shows, but ugh! they CAN do better)! i've heard only rumors that tenchi will come back, who knows!

Reign does blow big time, but Cartoon Network should realize that mostly all of their adult swim shows are what people actually want to watch, so instead of watching cowboy bebop at 1:30 in the morning, how about bringing it to Toonami. I would ove to watch the Trigun series, but it's on way too late for me. And what happened to Toonami showing movies. I would love to see the Cowboy Bebop movie, or a couple of the other DBZ movies on tv. And i am really pissed that YuYu started over again, it was getting to the best part. And to the main question at hand, i hope they bring GXP to Toonami, but i don't think they will. GXP is a little too sexual to censor, and plus the sexual stuff are the funniest parts. Anyway, i would love to see a Tenchi movie on Toonami, but with my luck, they will only show the one that have already see. And i know it's not really anime, but what happened with Batman Beyond. I loved that show. They even premiered the movie. And if they don't bring back Gundam Wing, i am going to be so pissed.

let me tell u right now david s trigun is the best series ever besides cowboy bebop!!!!! when u see just one episode u'll b hooked i guarantee! if u don't want to stay up and watch it like i did 26 times then u can just tape it but sadly stupid ass cartoon network is taking it AND cowboy bebop off for some new show on the 16th of june. i think its only going up to episode 19 sowatch it and tape it while u can, or be prepared to dish out almost 200 bucks for the dvds or download it.

No. Kenshin is the best. The first 28 episodes introduce the series which is badass. These episodes aren't the greatest, but from episode 29 and up it rocks, except for the third season which was getting lame, and that is why it ended. And Tenchi in Tokyo is the worst.

Its just like Trigun. The first episodes are questionable, but the rest of the series is awsome.

They play Salior Moon on Channal 5 ever moring at 6:00 AM(at least were i stay), n-e-ways, tenchi really kicked ass when i first saw it. One guy with 6 babes is pretty kool, i liked da first episode from Muyo. Da movie kicked ass too cuz it was uncut, and dis GXP seris sound kool. But of course Cartoon Network will take forever to show it cuz it takes foever to show new episode DBZ, sick of the stupid reruns, jus luk yuyu hakusho, it pissed me off wen day reran it at the good part, and den cut it the part he was goin do da black dragon(i never seen dat one, if any 1 has a copy, i luk sampo, e-mail me>) And as 4 tenchi i got pissed wen they stopped showing it, out of all da seris, i luk Muyo. But for da other people, they should make a cartoon were all of dem, meet each otha, dat would be kool. Sealab 2021 and all da funny shows laugh mi ass off they shouldn't cancel any of da shows, expect 4 regin, i no get dat show. Hi there, I am a major Tenchi fan..I have my own website concerning Ryoko www.geocities.com/Aidakaizoku_Ryokou and I also have a poster of it in my room. Anyhow, I have a strong belief that Tenchi will be aired again..because it is a heartfelt anime..I enjoy DBZ as well and Kenshin, but I think they need Tenchi Muyo or SailorMoon (Also a fan of that series) to return, one or either will boost ratings and also have a balance between all the fighting and somewhat of a love story kind of Anime (Like Tenchi) I think Adriana would agree with me, and I would tape the shows as well..I used to do it but I lost the tapes
