recorded a video from the internet using windows media player onto a vcd disk. I want to watch it on my dvd player which also plays vcds but it wont play. Any ideas?

Windows Media Player doesn't record White Book VCD. You'll need CD burning software that'll burn VCD, such as Nero or VCDEasy.

Check vcdhelp.com for tips on creating VCDs SVCDs, etc. It also has compatibility charts so you can see just how well your DVD player plays VCDs.
