Where the hell was he born...or trained? I hope he meant $1000 and missed a zero..... Dang, young man. Check your question before clicking or know your equipment. To answer your question, you might find a busted one at a pawn shop for $100.

This is one of the funniest dialogues I've ever seen referencing optics...I didn't think shooters were all stand-up's...you guys have too much free time. It's obvious that this had to be either planted just to get this reaction out of you guys, or this guy/gal is just a novice dipping for info on the "cool" stuff...future "Rambo" material for sure, but then...weren't you all at that same rung on the ladder at some time in your life? Did someone take advantage of your lack of knowledge to make you the focal point of everyone's laughter? Maybe it would have been a little more humane to just tell the guy/gal that there is no such item on the market...but, there is still a Santa Clause...remember?...hehe!

When you get that 10/22 I have a scope to sell you for $100.

I would like to thank you two knuckle draggers for the free laugh. Thats the funniest damn thing ive heard in a long time...

okay I'll add my two cents. No scopes of the quality of US Optics, Nightforce or Hakko (ala Springfield Armory) will be found for $100, even in the most abused used condition. I started out using a TASCO Super Sniper scope....they cost about $300 retail. Works GREAT!

Worked up my shooting skills so I can routinely hit marks well out to 1,000 yards. (yes I have a .50 BMG)

Now I have switched to both Nightforce and IOR/Valdada scopes. I am starting to like my IOR scope better because of the MP-8 reticle. One other scope to look at is HORUS OPtics. They make a great scope that can allow you to more easily reach out to 1,000 yards.

Any good scope will cost you between $1,000 and $3,000 depending on all the features. Good luck on your search.

I was having the worst day until I came and read the comments on this site, Great Stuff. HOOAH. To the confused individual: A used Nikkon or Springfield scope may be found closer to the price you are looking for. A $100.00 US Optic Scope is IMPOSSIBLE. If mine was ever dropped, hit, what have you I still wouldn't let it go for anything less than $1,000. I agree with the previous comments. Work your way towards this scope and an excellent rifle to match. If you are as serious as some here you will be willing to pay the money.

USO St-10 $895 @ snipershide.com Cheaper versions may be had - pay the $10 and buy the catalog. Or buy a Horus or Nightforce...

-- (milbook@hotmail.com), May 07, 2003.

I don't think you are going to have any luck on this one. Your best bet to finding a cheaper scope (probably not a US Optics model) is to find someone who is upgrading and get their existing scope off them. For a worthwhile one you are probably going to need to spend $600 plus. The best scope I have come across for serious precision work ,prior to my purchase of an SN3 from US Optics, with plex reticle. Don't know whether many second hand ones available in US, but here in UK a few going for around $600. Hope this helps.

Who needs optics and rifles when you can just pick up that TA312 and yell into it as loud as you can FIRE MISSION, a grid coordinate, and the magical words, FIRE FOR EFFECT. King of Battle Baby.

-- Rick (rbarnett@starstream.net), April 09, 2003.

I think they give them away at www.usoptics.com.

-- Ryan (fubar@fubar.com), March 05, 2003.

Is it not odd that you mite find a $1500.00 scope for around a $100.00 any where do not thank so sorry

-- MDP (newarms321@wmconnect.com), February 17, 2003.

That Rick guy is one funny fellow, between bagging on this sorry ass chump and the squirrle sniper fiasco, I might finally be able to stop watching sit-coms to obtain my fix of humor.

Can someone get hid transcripts and see if he slept through 2nd 3rd and 4th grade where they teach you how to spell simple words like didnt, pants and cost. If he didnt please shut him up. Hes the reason stupid people shouldnt have kids. AS for the scope issue, all I can tell you is the cheapest on I've found is around 850 dollars and that is a used scope. Get a paper route and save the lire, pounds, or francs or whatever you use

Idon giva didalyshit-for-brains you are one ignorant SOB. I've seen better grammar and more intellectual insight from my last bowel movement. Adam sure hit the nail on the head with his response. Took the words right out of my mouth... Must be something about Marines named Adam. Oh well, you and your butt-buddy have a good time in stupidville together. However, I would like to thank you two knuckle draggers for the free laugh. If you have any other dumb questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

idon giva didalyshit (usuck@upyours.com), November 21, 2002. You sir need to learn to spell and write in complete sentences you half-wit. The fact of the matter is, someone who is looking for a U.S. Optics scope for 100 dollars shouldn't have that sort of equipment nor should he own a gun that would require such a scope. Whomever he is needs to go buy a Ruger 10/22, become proficient in the sport, and then perhaps someday, choose to make an investment in a quality rifle and scope. This poor soul simply wants to become a Hollywood-like sniper and it simply doesn't work that way. Good day to you all... Semper Fi
